1. Using Timo

By accessing and using Timo, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Timo. Users aged 13–16 require parental consent.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• You may only use Timo lawfully and must not infringe on the rights of others.
• Prohibited content includes anything illegal, harmful, abusive, or that violates any applicable laws.

2. The Service

• Timo is currently free to use. Paid features may be introduced in the future via the App Store.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
• We will aim to provide reasonable notice of significant changes that affect your use of the service.

3. Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in Timo (events, notes, documents, photos).
• By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the service.
• Content shared within a family or group is visible to all members of that group.

4. Third-Party Integrations

Timo integrates with third-party services to enhance functionality:

• Google Calendar (optional) — syncs your calendar events. Governed by Google's Terms of Service.
• WhatsApp reminders (opt-in only) — sends event reminders via Meta's messaging platform.
• AI voice-to-text (optional) — voice input is converted to text and processed by OpenAI to extract event details. Avoid sharing sensitive information via voice features.

We are not responsible for how these third-party services operate under their own terms and policies.

5. Account & Termination

• You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed after a 30-day grace period. You may restore your account within this period.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimers & Liability

• Timo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for notification failures, calendar sync errors, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Timo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the app or by email.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam.
